RGF grantee, Hannah, aiming for the Olympics!

It is always exciting to hear from our grantees. Hannah has been in touch recently to showcase her main achievements to date, and to thank the RGF for supporting her.

Hannah shared with us: “My name is Hannah, and I am 18 years old. I am a member of the Archery GB performance conversion academy. The purpose of this program is to convert the most talented junior archers into internationally competitive senior athletes. I have been a part of Archery GB’s talent pathway for 8 years now and because of this I am constantly able to grow mentally and physically into a stronger, more well-rounded athlete. My biggest achievements to date include: representing Great Britain in the European Youth Cup 2018 in Italy, winning the UK Junior Masters, UK Junior Nationals, UK National Junior Key event finals and UK Senior National Tour round. Currently I am ranked 12th in the UK National rankings.

Thanks to the financial support I have received from the Rob George Foundation I am able to continue to receive the highest level of coaching required to maintain and improve my current level of performance. I am sincerely grateful for the support I have received and knowing I have more people believing in my journey motivates me to work harder towards achieving my ultimate goal of competing at the Olympic Games.”
