Your Mum gave up work a few years ago to become the full-time carer for your Dad who is registered blind. Life at home is tough and at the age of 15 your world is already full of challenges. Turns out though that you have an incredibly rare form of breast cancer and have to undergo the trauma not only of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but a mastectomy too. The physical impact is unimaginable on such a young lady, but the emotional and psychological strain is immense too.
