The Rob George Foundation exhibition of watercolours held at The Sentinel Gallery, Wivenhoe, last month raised a magnificent £1168 for the RGF, thanks to the generosity of two participating local artists, Susan Boddy and John Cooper.
Rob’s mum and RGF trustee, Lorraine said: “I am just so thrilled that we have hosted another successful exhibition, but this one is particularly special as Susan has been a good friend of mine for many years and knew Rob for the whole of his life. I am so grateful to them for their support. Fundraising has been so difficult over the last 2 years and without the loving and loyal commitment of dear friends and supporters like Susan and John we would not be able to help as many young people across the UK as we do.”
Susan is a well-known local artist and music teacher and her partner, John, took up painting after semi-retiring as a local builder.
Huge thanks to Susan and John!
