In the past Lorraine and Pip George have undertaken all manner of mad-cap schemes, supported by their wonderful family and friends to raise money for the Rob George Foundation. When the opportunity to move came along, with the bonus of an attached art gallery – well, that was too difficult to resist.
Lorraine commented:-
“We were ready for a change and indeed a new challenge. The Sentinel Gallery has been an exciting project to work on. The original layout of this ultra-modern building didn’t work for us, but after a long and painful planning process we have now created a fabulous new home and a wonderful gallery for everyone to enjoy. All proceeds from the gallery will go to the work of the RGF.
If you haven’t yet visited The Sentinel Gallery maybe it could feature on your next trip out. Wivenhoe is jammed packed with restaurants and pubs all serving delicious food and snacks. A walk along the stunning River Colne is guaranteed to blow the cobwebs away and leave you with a spring in your step to be completed with a feast for the soul in the local gallery – what’s not to love about that?!”
