Still time to support RGF Trustee, Glen

Keen RGF followers will recall that during the month of April, Glen is attempting to walk from one terminus to the other (or the furthest apart where there are multiple) of each of the eleven London Underground lines – that’s some challenge!

Since Glen started his walk earlier this month he has walked a staggering 144 miles which in modern day speak equates to 306,366 steps!

Despite a very busy schedule, both walking and working, and a few blisters, Glen mustered the energy to update us on his overall progress.

Glen told us: “So far I have completed 7 of the 11 London Underground lines (Northern, Circle, Waterloo & City, Metropolitan, District, Bakerloo and Central) and seen lots of London I have never been to! Unsurprisingly I have some sore feet but I have been using post-walk ice buckets and lots of blister plasters to help get me back out walking! Three of the walks have been more than the distance of a marathon so the last few miles of these have been especially tough, but the amazing support and donations for the RGF have really kept me going. Any donations would be hugely appreciated as I look to complete the rest of the lines (Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City, Victoria and Jubilee) by the end of the month.”

It’s not too late to support Glen, so If you would like to support Glen on his challenge you can donate through the following link:

We all wish Glen the very best for the remainder of his walk.
