22-year-old RGF grantee, Molly, has her sights set on the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Molly, now a full-time sailor, competes in the ILCA 6 women’s single-handed dinghy, the only single-handed Olympics class and against the very best sailors in the world.
Molly has been in touch to update us on her progress: “I’ve had a great year of racing internationally with the support of the Rob George Foundation, medaling at the Europa Cup in Germany in July and a 15th at this year’s Kieler Woche, the biggest sailing week in the world against a tough senior fleet! I finished 8th at the ILCA 6 British Nationals which I havebeen working to improve on and only last week finished 6th at the European Qualifiers so I am super excited to continue this good form into the European Championships which will be taking place in Hyeres, France this November.
I would like to thank the Rob George Foundation for their support in helping me maintain the highest quality equipment, particularly in obtaining new sails, to keep me fast on the water. The values and aims of the RGF are a lovely thing to be a part of and something I am proud to represent on both the international and national stage.

All the very best, Molly!
