We are delighted to announce that Rob’s Walk 2022, that took place earlier this summer and kindly organised by Ellisons Solicitors, has raised £3k for the RGF!
Philip George, Chairman of Trustees, said: “We are so grateful to Team Ellisons for organising this popular RGF fundraising event. Without their support this year we would not have been able to hold this event. Also big thanks to all the walkers, made up of local businesses, friends and families, who took part, taking on single and multiple stages of the Essex Way. This year’s walk took place on Sunday 26 June and covered stages 6 to 10 from Great Tey to Harwich. In total, The Essex Way is a stunningly beautiful 81-mile marked footpath through relatively gentle Essex countryside; along the way the route takes in the outskirts of Rob’s home town, Colchester.”
Rob’s Walk 2023 is currently at the planning stage and may involve a new and shorter route – watch this space for further details.
