Dance and musical theatre student, Eloise, is making great progress as she enters her final year at Bird College – Conservatoire for Dance and Musical Theatre.
Eloise has been in touch with an update. She told us: “My second year at Bird College was even more exciting than my first year, with two project performances through the year and a showcase in July featuring my whole year. Alongside my diploma, I have been completing a Level 4 diploma in Dance Education with the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance), to increase my skillset as a teacher and performer. I completed the exam unit (1 of the 4 units) of this diploma in July receiving a distinction, and I aim to complete the full diploma during my final year of study.
Once again, I am grateful for all the support the Rob George Foundation offer me every year and would not be where I am without them.”
What’s more, we’ve had an update on Eloise’s progress from Bird College and here are a few extracts:
“Eloise’s 2nd year, although demanding and tough, included numerous exciting and successful outcomes: performance projects, Assessments and ‘Money, Money, Money’, the end of year Production, being some highlights of the academic year.”
“Eloise is determined to take up every opportunity and will relish this chance to perform in a professional environment.”
“For the Summer Show in July, I was happy to cast her in my own Jazz Piece, ‘Material Girl.’ I was very impressed with Eloise’s professionalism, focus and willingness to embrace my ideas with energy and eagerness, as well as observe patiently when needed, through the creative and experimental phase. I observed Eloise flourish and grow in confidence, both as a professional company member and as an artist, throughout this rehearsal period and running of the Show.”
“Eloise has blossomed with confidence and maturity since her first year of training – every word of guidance and amount of funding has been fully appreciated and worthwhile. Always a well-deserved and extremely humble recipient of the Rob George Foundation.”
“Eloise is a young artist who I am sure will forever be indebted to your continued support.”
From the RGF – Well done, Eloise, and all the very best for your final year at Bird College!
