Imagine…
…the lively family scene – mum, dad, and four children. The youngsters are aged 15, 16, 17 and 18 years old, and they are all international shooters. Dean Bale is 17, and already competes for team GB in the Junior Rifle Squad, and for England in 10m precision air rifle and .22 rifle. All the references we received followed a common theme: that of a family who do everything in their power to support their talented children. Money is found for transport, accommodation and entry fees, not to mention hours of training on a weekly basis. Dean now needs equipment that matches his ability.
Dean was selected to represent GB at the ISSF (International Sport Shooting Federation) Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany. He made the final, finishing in 8th place after fighting off tough competition from across the globe. To watch the final click here.
