Imagine…
….you are a young single mum, aged 21, with no family back up, when your health fails. First you have a kidney problem and the treatment for that affects your heart. You undergo a heart and kidney transplant but the kidney fails and now you have to attend four times a week for dialysis. There is no one to look after your young child and you can’t afford the extended hours at nursery in order to attend your treatment – and you can’t take your child onto the ward whilst you attend the dialysis you need to keep you alive.

Thanks to you – the RGF has been able to pay for this young mum’s child to be cared for whilst she attends hospital for her own treatment. It is so sad to think that in this day and age a charity such as ours might be this young mum’s last place to turn for help.
