Given Rob’s passion for cricket, it’s always special when we can support a talented and dedicated young cricketer.
Eve, a right-handed batter and right arm pace bowler, approached the Rob George Foundation earlier this year for a grant to fund the purchase of much needed kit to support her ongoing development. The RGF grant enabled Eve to purchase a new helmet, thigh pads, batting gloves, indoor cricket shoes, cricket bag, bat care kit, practice balls and bat grips.
Eve has been in touch to show her appreciation. She said: “I am Eve Elyne Joseph, playing cricket for England’s Emerging Players Program and Essex Women’s Elite Eagles Program (WEEP). I am so happy and proud to receive a grant from the RGF to pursue my cricket career. I really appreciate all the effort by the RGF to promote young talents in sports. I hope the Foundation grows more and more to support more young people to achieve their goals in the sports field”.
Eve’s ambition is to play for England and she’s clearly going in the right direction!
