You have always been a promising student, diligent at school and college, very highly regarded by your teachers and course tutors and you go on to ultimately secure a place at university to study for a degree in Musical Theatre. With little financial backing you struggle through your first two years of study. You gain excellent results and make enormous progress whilst holding down two part-time jobs in an effort to support yourself. However your final year looms and it becomes clear that in order to complete the requirements of your course and participate in all the live performances and tours, you will be unable to continue to work. If you give up your jobs you can’t afford to complete your degree. Catch 22.
