Grant awarded on 1st May 2023

Performing artist, Bailey has been in touch with an update. She told us “I applied to the RGF for a grant to help me with my dance and performing arts training.

“I have had a busy year under a new studio and made incredible progress in all genres. I train with four different schools in dance and performing arts, participating in exams in ISTD, LAMDA and IPATH.

“I have had a very successful year taking solos to competition and festivals and recently been nominated for a National Entertainment Award for Best UK Solo Dancer U18.

“Alongside my extra-curricular activities, I am taking GCSE dance and drama and I’m involved in high school shows and dance classes.

“I will use my grant towards extra associate training programmes and extra dance school classes. I have a big audition coming up for a ballet and contemporary training company.

“I am proud of my training, work ethic and my progression in dance and performing arts. I hope to continue to learn and thrive all round to then go on to audition for dance college when I leave school. I will be eternally grateful to the RGF for their support and interest in my development.”

Since Bailey’s update we’re pleased to announce that she has, again, successfully auditioned for the professional Ipswich Regent Pantomime as a dancer this year.
