You are just 18 years old and get hit with a diagnosis of leukaemia. You are sent to a specialist cancer centre miles from home. Your mum is staying in hospital accommodation to be with you, but due to the financial crisis your family is already in, you haven’t seen your dad or siblings for eight months.
