Imogen Tate is a competitive trampolinist and double mini trampolinist competing at National level. Earlier this year, she applied to The Rob George Foundation for a grant to help pay for her competition entry fees.
Imogen has had a fantastic start to the season, competing in the British and English age 13/14 qualifying rounds. She has qualified through to both finals in October in all disciplines and has already won a bronze medal in the synchronised trampoline junior (under 16) category.
Imogen’s ambition is to be selected for either the British or the English junior squad next year (she was thrilled to be selected for the English development squad for the double mini trampoline this year) with the long-term goal of representing her country internationally in the world championships.
Outside of competing, Imogen has recently started learning to coach, helping out with the development squad, and also starting out as youth leader at her local gymnastic club.
Imogen said, “We are so grateful to The Rob George Foundation for their support this year. In a time of financial difficulty, the grant has been invaluable and has made a huge difference.” With her unwavering determination and hard work, Imogen’s future in trampolining looks promising. We wish her every success and look forward to seeing her achievements.
