In November, our friends and supporters, Liz and Mark Webber, kindly organised a special fundraising dinner supporting the Rob George Foundation. Inspired by their experience at our golf day in 2022, Liz and Mark turned a simple dinner into a wonderful act of generosity.
In this setting, a group of friends got together, each contributing not just their presence but also paying for the pleasure of dining together with all the money raised going to the Rob George Foundation.
The Foundation’s Chair, Philip George said “As a result of the generosity of Liz and Mark and their friends, a magnificent £250 was raised. This will help us to continue our work of providing practical and financial support to young people battling life-threatening illnesses, as well as financial aid to those with exceptional dedication and talent in sports or the performing arts, assisting them to overcome financial barriers in pursuing their aspirations.
