RGF stalwart Hannah Brooks has supported us over many years, principally through producing themed calendars, that are sold, with the proceeds going to Hannah’s favourite charities. So why the RGF? Let Hannah remind us why:
“Since 2016, I have supported The Rob George Foundation through my annual charity calendar photography project. The RGF is a charity close to my heart for a number of reasons. Having grown up alongside Rob at church, and having followed his journey battling leukaemia, I knew that I wanted to support the RGF, both by raising money and spreading awareness of the work they do. The RGF’s values and goals are like no other charity that I know of in terms of the communities they support, the people they represent, and the individual lives they positively impact.
“I love that they support those with life threatening or terminal illnesses, bringing sparks of light into lives where hope is needed, and that opportunity and encouragement are also brought to those pursuing goals in performing arts and sports. I love reading about how different individuals have flourished with the support of the RGF.
“Rob would be so proud of how the charity has developed, and it encompasses so much of the values he had in life, which is wonderful.
“I will be designing the 2025 calendar soon, and the RGF will, as always, be one of the charities I will be supporting – do look out for it in the coming months!”
Rob’s parents, Pip and Lorraine, said: “Hannah’s support over many years has been amazing, and her friendship with Rob and her very personal motivation to raise funds for the RGF makes it even more special and touching. Thank you, Hannah, for your loyal support for the RGF; we are so grateful.”
